You're never too old! Go for it! In a psychology course I took a couple of years ago, there were a few women in their 60s.

Hi,
it is never too late to go back to school. Look at it like this what age do you plan on retiring? you have about 30-40 years ahead of you to work. So go to school for the next couple years to have a good career for the years you will be working. And also, you will get older and whats better, getting older with a college degree or getting older and being in the same position you are in now. Never be scared to try and you are never too old. Good luck.

Go!!! And stop making excuses about it. 22 is NOT too "old" to go to College...-nor is it ANYTHING like too late. Once you get into it, the weirdness (that's in your mind) will go away- & you'll be on your way towards getting a higher education- and hopefully, a better paying job. [And by the way, anyone who might suggest that you're alittle "old" to be a college freshman...-doesn't have half the sense that you do. Because brains aren't much good if you don't know how to use them]

Nah, your never to old. What you have to do is think about what you're really going to do in college. Are you going to do it the traditional way (doorms, full time, etc..) or are you going to work full time and attend partime. If you are going to be working full time and attending school partime then you will be surprice at the amount of grown adults who attend. I'm 23 now in my senior year and I been attending after work for a while now and I think I'm the youngest one from the group. Most people are in their late 20's to late 30's. What ever you do don't let your age get in the way.

You know what -- this Female RETIREE (who already has UGrad and Grad Degrees -- which were used in my Career from which I've retired!) is going back to College right now -- like a LOT of my FELLOW Retirees!

At the Local College in my area -- the average age of the starting student is:

36 years of age!

YES -- 36 years old -- they are a mix of mid-career individuals, single moms starting over after being stay-at home moms (and have gone through divorce), servicemembers (and yes, I did get Graduate Degrees while I was on Active Duty), and individuals who now decide to better themselves and start new careers, or ... have to improve or gain skills to continue to hold their licenses to practice in their professions.

I"m 26! I didn't go back to school till I was 22. I have to admit, I'm not a traditional student. I got married, had a kid, got divorced. I don't live on campus and I attend a Community College, but my average class mates are older than me. I'm in the "norm."

There is one person in my Anatomy & physiology class who is 18 and one who is 48. Other wise the most of us are in our mid 20s to Mid 30s.

Age doesn't matter when it's college. I started when i was 22 as well, and i'm average age at my school. You work harder cuz you have had the time to think about it, and the life experiance. It way better to wait.

Whatever you end up doing, please read a book on grammar. Periods are your friend.
