I have been going to the gym once in the morning and once at night? I feel great and it seems to be workin for me... any insight?

Of course a lot depends on what and how much you do in your workout, but while I only work out 3 days a week, once a day, now, there was a time when I did a morning and afternoon workout. One was strength, the other cardio, and I felt great.

It's not really recommended to work out that much. The only thing that may be the exception is if you perhaps do cardio in the morning and weights at night, something like that, and even then you shouldn't do that every day. Your body needs time to heal and recover, especially after weights. Not to do that will cause what's called "overtraining" where your body literally feeds on itself and you regress instead of progress.
