Advil, a hot bath, a hot water bottle or masturbation/sex. Orgasms are good for cramps.

Ever when you consider that i began out utilising a menstrual cup, i've got had no cramps in any respect. no longer a single one! Now i won't be able to tell you why it extremely is... some human beings could say that tampons worsen the cramps, others could say that the cup enables your uterus expel the menstrual fluids and tissues by utilising becoming a mushy suction. I extremely don't be attentive to. yet I beneficial be attentive to that it works for me and that i'm no longer complaining.

"Ponstel" a muscle relaxer...I have been taking it since I got my period...years ago as a tween. It isn't like the one muscle relaxant in the movie "Sixteen Candles" where the chic isn't able to get married and walk down the aisle because she looks drunk. (Remember that flick if you are old enough to remember, I'm 40...lol) anyway, it relaxes the pelvic muscles and has never not worked well for me. I get it from the gyno. and generally I get it for a 12 month prescription. No serious side effects, pretty cheap medication and it hasn't been a problem for me to work or do anything to upset my normal routine. Generally I only need one, on the first day of my period, so my supply lasts me a long time. Works for me...good luck, cramps are terrible! :(

ibu's ahead of time with using the least amount possible,,marijuana is good for that also.lol.
You should get a check up,,there may be a reason they are so painful. If there is something not quite right,,its better to find out sooner that later.Like for example,,if you have fibroid uterine tumors,,they can easily be taken care of with lazor surgery instead of waiting & needing major surgery such as a hysterectomy.Get an ultrasound.Good luck.

I went on birth control. After 9 months I am no longer on it. Good news is that anytime my friend comes around I have no cramps. Your best at talking to your doctor because no one should have to put up with painful cramps.

My mom taught me this technique: take ibuprofen and sudafed together. The point of this is that the decongestant (sudafed) will clear the blockage that your uterus is trying to squeeze out. It really does the trick for those especially tough days!
I've also recently discovered a pill called diurex for bloating.

A bit of exercise and some ibuprofen should do the trick. Advil is pretty good for the pain.
