how will i open an encrypted file from windowsXP(NTFS)

how will i open an encrypted file from windowsXP(NTFS)... icant open my files from my previous pc (now its broken) in my new pc... (i richt clicked the file, chose properties, advanced button, then checked encrypt content to secure data) please help... thank you..

You cannot.

Once a file is encrypted using EFS, the only way to see its contents is to log into the account of the user who has encrypted it. If this is not possible (e.g., because that user account has been deleted or because the computer on which it is, is not bootable) you can consider the encrypted file(s) lost. Note that even re-creating the user account with the same user name and password will not solve the problem.

itz bit complicated to discover.... Even i had downloaded some content fabric the place it exchange into password secure n i didnt had password. at tat time i attempted many softwares to discover the password, besides the undeniable fact that it exchange into all waste of time. a million utility took very just about 16hrs for diverse opportunities , yet cudnt hint password.
