Some restaurants won't ask a lot of questions, if they want help bad enough. Just put 16 down. A newspaper route applies also. A Golf course might allow you. If you want to work bad enough you will find something.

Hi hun! When I was 15 I started working in the food and hospitality industry! Many times, as long as you have reliable transportation (Public, parents, friends, etc) they will hire you. This industry is a great place to start out. I'm 21 now and doing my professional internship at a construction firm and I've NEVER not gotten a job I've applied for...people know that if you can work in restaurants for a while that you have a certain personality that is appealing.

DON'T plan to work in restaurants forever though, at 15 I was working with people who were 30+ years older than I was! Make sure to do well in school and have a ton of extracurricular activities so that you will end up in a good college and not like the losers you worked with at 15 ;).

A few other good bets are (like someone mentioned) working at a golf course or country club, getting a paper route if you live in a densely populated area, doing yard work around your neighborhood, I'm sure you can think of a few ways where you wouldn't have to be interviewed.

You could just wait until you're 16 if you're worried about it, dont try to take on big responsibilities so young, give yourself time to grow up!

Good Luck!

Doesn't that really stink? That all the good places hire at 16? Well unfortunatley, the rules stand and when I was your age I was in the same situation. Here are a few things you can do at 15... -Burger King/McDonalds/Wendy's (Fast Food) -BabySit (Get a few friends together to help you) -Small Family owned businesses hire at 15 sometimes -Family owned restaurants hire around 14 or 15 for diswashers and such -And what I did, started a dog walking business. Put out a classified and walk dogs throughout the day! It really works! Have fun!

Atta Boy! Great to see someone your age wanting to earn their keep! You have a great future ahead of you with those kind of work ethics! Maybe try knocking on doors and ask for a job off the books. Put an ad in the local paper and hang flyers saying that you'll do errands and odd jobs for people. There are ways to get some money coming in if you use your imagination. Get a piece of paper and write down ideas. It's called "brainstorming."
Your bound to come up with something. Walk dogs, mow lawns, do yardwork, clean out garages, do whatever! In no time you'll be old enough to get a regular job, but for now get started and enjoy the benefits of a good days work. I know you'll be sucessful!

try talking to your parents about checking with the local labor goverments in your area. they may have a work permit porgram and you may be able to get one so you can have more employment options. I got one when i was 15 and i was able to work in a grocery store.

I went to my grandmas trailer park and passed out papers for the ladies at the office., You could also babysit or clean yards. Walk dogs. Clean peoples house but be careful with that one.

I think any Mc Donalds or Jack in the Box will hire at 15. At my school you can start working at age 14 with a school permit. U should get informed at yours.
