Which is the country that has offered the most in art, culture, civilization, language, architecture, democracy, philosophy, olympic games etc etc.?

Well the question is purely subjective. Greece started out as a once important influence when the Italians were still the Etruscans (forerunners to the Romans). As everyone knows from there the Italians flourished even after the collapse of the empire throughout the middle ages and Renaissance.
They generally greatly improved on Greece's endeavours and became the driving force of western civilization for these times while Greece was mired in its past historical importance of crumbing theaters, temples and faux democracy.

All those thing u described form a civilization. I think Italy because it's beautiful and the food is great. I think Italy really is a civilization.

Oh my god they let you off World Cup Soccer? I think Italy and Greece have done equally well in giving the world great art and ideas.

I have to say Italy since my husband is half Italian. : ) Also I am a direct descendant of Charlemagne who was one of the Roman rulers.

I would really love to visit Rome one day and see the coliseum and all of the history. My husband's family is from Florence so I would like to go there and also it Milan.

Being to both, it's really hard to decide. I love them both! I lived in Greece when I was nine so I would have to pick Greece.
It's an incredible place. A Paradise. Incredible Views. It's a perfect place.

I agree. Interpret as you wish. We all are better than somebody else in one or another area. The same could be said about a country.
