K my friend has 3 charges- 1 incorgibility and 2 runaways She was a minor Does she have to pay the fines...?

Her probabtion officer has set a date for the 27th. She has to pay 471 dollars. Her officer said she had to pay it all at once and if she didnt she would go to jail. Is she responsible for this. She was a minor when she got the charges and she just turned 18 Someone help me out and back it up with facts PLS!!!

Get things in writing from the courts. As for the fines being paid all at once, that should be wrong. Most courts will accept partial payments if hardship is demonstrated (no job, living at or below the poverty line, etc).
