You can file a divorce by publication. You should talk to either an attorney, or if your state has them, a paralegal or legal document assistant to see what your state's laws say about publications.

You would have to file for a divorce in the same country where you got married. Your husband doesn't need to be there. He will be summoned to court after you have filed the papers.

technally yes you can. run a ad in the local paper of his last known address. if hes around he will see it and have a chance to rufute it. if he dosent show up in court you will most likey get it... oh and file a no fault divorce..if that dosent work seek an annulment

if you have been seperated and excommunicated for a couple of years, I am sure there are provision under the law. But two months..may be it is too early. Just seek the advice of those who know about the relevant laws.

did your husband come to the states with you?
if he did you can file for abandonment or an anullment.. i thinl you better talk to a lawyer about this.

he would tell you to put an ad in a certain size print in the newspaper to find him.
if he doesn't appear and you can't find him
you can get an automatic divorce.
but it has to be a certain period of time of not seeing him that you can do that
