When you had your period what was the most embarrassing thing that happened and what was the way you handled the situation.

soooooo many!
1- I was in seventh grade and we were in English. we were having a fiesta in spanish next, so naturally I was really excited. When I got up at the bell, I felt kinda wet, so I went to the bathroom. ... I was wearing my favorite WHITE pants. I went to the bathroom and realized I had got my period and it had gone right through and made a huge stain on my pants. I stretched my t-shirt down as low as I could and ran to my locker. Now of course, as it always happens, I was caught without a pad. It was only my second time. By now I was practically crying. My friend Kristen came out of the spanish room and asked me what the heck I was doing running through the hallways and I told her. SHe gave me a pad and managed to coax a sweatshirt off of one of our friends. When I finally showed up in class, it was halfway done and the stupid spanish teacher wouldn't leave me alone. The whole class was staring at me, and later a guy in my class told me that the teacher had told the class what she thought had happend to me (you guessed it she told'm I had my period) I was soooooo mortified! It was a COLD day and my friend was bravely walking around in a tank top. I felt soo bad, so I went and changed into my smelly, gross gym pants- they were all I had!

I was a 6th grader on a field trip....at the local mall!!! I was wearing my really cool turquoise running shorts. (rookie at the whole period thing)...I was walking around with the tour guide..listening and having fun...the I noticed some boys laughing behind me (older boys). I turned around and they were pointing and acting like they were throwing up. I knew it was directed at me but I had no idea why, So I carried on about my way. I guess my teacher noticed the older boys laughing and decided to walk behind me...that's when she saved me. She quietly handed me her sweater and had me tie it around my waste...I had bled right through the pad and all over the back of shiny turquoise shorts. I was never more embarrassed ...the teacher was really cool at not making it a big deal...none of my classmates had a clue.
Being that young and not knowing enough about your new self..will teach any girl to be really cautious!!!

I was in a Real rush.. and I'm sure every girl can appreciate this! I had to be showered and ready to go in less than an hr because my (now longterm) boyfriend was coming over to pick me up to go to this important thing of his. He gave me short notice!!! Anyways, =( I was on my period and in such a hurry that I just left my pad on my panties on the floor (face up) to deal with once I got out! He came over and walked into the washroom to tell me he arrived and to hurry while I was in the shower and I noticed him staring at the floor for a minute when I realized, Oh my God!! He's staring at my pad!! I screamed for him to get out and .. we just never brought it up or mentioned it. I am still mortified to this day when I think about that stupid, embarassing memory! Now, I NEVER, no matter how rushed I am, just hop into the shower without taking care of things first.. :S

One time I didn't know I had my period and about to take a shower, but forgot a towel left in the kitchen. So I walked to the kitchen naked to get that towel then headed to the shower across the hall. When I finished showering and got dressed, the maintainance guy was standing the kitchen fixing a light bulb. He asked me if I had injured or cut myself. I said no and asked him why. He pointed to the kitchen floor and asked whose blood is this? I looked down, realizing....it was my blood and yes...it was my period.
I didn't say anything to him though...just pretty much playing dead lol. I told him that I might have cut myself on my knee or something. It was pretty embarrassing to me....

haha OMG it all goes back to the 8th grade... It was a "fun day" and all the eigth graders were in the auditorium watching Jurassic Park.. So not being young and not thinking, I leaned back in my seat to watch the movie.. And at that point in time I had not started using tampons. so of course the blood leaked right through my pants. I grabbed my friends sweater off of her waste and tyed it around my shorts.. Luckily I made it home with no one noticing!

omg once i was in school and i was wearing some cream color pants and it wasn't any time near my period so i did not think i would get it next ting i know my Friends are telling me to tie my sweater around my waist because all the guys were staring and they were so cute to i could not ever walk true that hall with out being embarras.

ok...i was at a really long horse show all day, and all day my period was really light, so we were all in a hurry to get home, so i decided that i could wait to change my pad. well in the hour and a half it took to get home my period got heavy...really heavy. I wasnt even in my own truck, i was in my farriers truck with his cute son...i asked him to stop at a gas station, but with the long trailer it had to be the right one...when we finally found one my pad had leaked all over the seats of his new truck....i was mortified.

1 - blood on the pants! i covered it with a sweatshirt tied around my waist and tried not to let anyone else notice
2- having to ask my cousin for a tampon because we were going swimming and i had never used a tampon before, so i didn't really know how to put it in right. i did it wrong and it was very very painful and i tried not to let it show how much pain i was in!
