I heard from someone somewhere that babies can dream while inside of their mothers womb. Iam 24 weeks pregnant and was wondering if this is true and if it is will I know when my baby is dreaming?

Yes, they definitely dream. No one knows what about, but I suspect they can only dream about the sounds and feelings they experience in the womb. prenatal experts believe that dreaming is essential for brain development. This makes sense, considering that babies in utero sleep many more hours than they are awake.

There are some theories that say they do. No one really knows for sure since the only ones who know are the one's inside the uterus and so far I've never heard of one exiting the womb and saying "I had the STRANGEST dream".

Yes they do. At the fourth month, doctors have been able to record REM sleep, which is the dreaming state of sleep. I just wonder what they could possibly be dreaming about...

Interesting question. Unfortunately, I do not think that we will ever really know because babies can't tell us. However, it is my belief that they do not/can not dream because their brains are not developed enough and they do not have any life experience, they are blank slates. On the other hand, with all that kicking and moving around that they do inside mom, something must be stimulating them.

I'm sure they do, but you couldn't tell. They dream when they come out of you. They have the same bodies & minds inside so that's why I'd say yes.

likely definite, finally their mind is developed to the point the position they could procedure stuff. children reply to noises outdoors of the moms abdomen, which shows they're taking of their ecosystem, which may carry about the threat to dream. * notwithstanding, their "aims" would not be what we evaluate aims.
