Suppose a cartesian system having "+n" points on right side of its axis is there.Its mirror image having "+n" points on left side of its axis is kept apart but in front of it. A line would be there joining "+n" of the main system & "+n" of its mirror image.What would happen to the center of such a line joining those two "+n" of main system & its mirror image?

slope should be zero as you say that the mirror image was right in front of it ( parallel in other words )

intercept should be +n as that should be the distance between the centre point and the images.
