basically i could pick up any of these people off free agent list and need to know who to play no that mcnabb got hurt on me. thanks

McNair vs. Pittsburgh
or
Smith @ St. Louis
I'd give the edge to McNair at home though. Pittsburgh's defense is banged up and St. Louis is spotty at best. Plus, Alex Smith is unproven still.
For the rest of those guys:
Farve- Won't be healthy enough to pick apart Seattle at Seattle.
Roethilisberger- Absolutly horrible. Good for 2 picks, at least.
Johnson- Couldn't pass all over SF, no way he'll be good against Arizona.
Carr- Jets have a decent secondary, plus he's awful on the road.
Harrington- He's Joey Harrington. Enough said.

Take the guy from Jacksonville, Garrard. He looked ok tonight. Other than that, maybe Harrington? His offense is good, and he and the team seem to have turned it around. Rothelsberger's season is a waste, McNair is on a poor offensive team. Favre is hot and cold, the other guys don't impress me.

McNair has some favorable matcups ahead, incl. 3 at home.
I am in the same position with McNabb. I already have McNair on my bench and I went and hogged up Grossman and Pennington as well. I plan on playing the matchups week-to-week.
McNabb got us this far. This sucks. Good Luck.

none of them will pick up crazy fantasy points, but alex smith will either give you big or none but never gives negative points. mcnair and the others give a solid average of points but not enough to win
