Talk to your husband. He should be your best friend. If he isn't, why did you marry him?

Try volunteering somewhere - habitat for humanity, church, etc. - you can check out opportunities in your local paper usually. Invite married neighbors over for lunch, dinner, cards, or a movie night. Take up a new hobby - scrapbooking or something - and get to know the others in some of the classes you take. Invite them over or go out to dinner. Look around you when you both do things that interest you and don't be afraid to strike up conversations - you might meet your newest best couples friends that way.

Church.

We met a number of really wonderful couples at church. Most churches have socials and special events and time after services to meet people and become involved in service projects around the community. Many churches band together to hold special "young marrieds" activities. Those were fun for us. Later, when the kids came, they had a bunch of friends from Sunday School and other church activities to play with and we got to meet a lot of our friends through our childrens' friends.

Our church, along with our kid's schools, take up most of our social time, and we have wonderful friends from our association at those places.

You got a life time friend just right at home, your spouse. Just enjoy.
You may not even have time to hang out with friends. You just need
few of them any way. You have your families and will make new friends when you decide to have a family any way.

That's hard. I went thru that too. You need to make new friends, possibly thru work or somewhere else, that are also in serious relationships.
