I've always thought of myself as a lesbian since I was 8 years old. But I came to accept this as a fact when I was 16 years old. In between, I had 3 boyfriends, but being with them never felt right in any way. Then came my first girlfriend when I turned 16. And I've been a lesbian all the way since then.

I have accepted myself and I think I have move beyond that now to actually liking myself sexually. I am not finished yet though, I am headed toward celebrating who I am sexually. But I don't know if I am there yet. Sometimes, on dark days, I wonder.
I am indebted to the strong, bold, soldiers who are pioneering our acceptance in our culture. I can't thank you enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have accepted who i am.... as a lesbian as well as every part of me.... but when your family.... an "extension" of you still doesn't.... it is an ongoing, everyday struggle to constantly take back what is rightfully yours... peace of mind and judgement free LOVE.

About a month. It wouldn't have been that long if certain people had left me alone about.
