It was words wasted. They have him on tape and they will judge him by the tape regarless of what he may say to the contrary.

Unfortunately, the majority of people he offended had left and did not get to hear his apology. I think he was sincere in what he was saying. Hopefully others will feel the same way. Perhaps he needs an anger management class or something so it never happens again.

You make an excellent point. Had he said words to that effect, it would have made his apology seem so much more sincere and heartfelt.
What *was* obvious in Richards' "Letterman" appearance was that he was extremely uncomfortable and obviously still troubled by either the incident itself or its aftermath.

He acted really wierd and exhibited poor judgment in that tirade. He should take classes from Bill CLinton who can handle hecklers of any shape and form.
After performing for years, this is not the time to act like a newbie in the dog eat dog world of being an onstage performer.

You have a good point but if he had said that would that make him look worse? He is trying to look like a good person again. I feel his apology was genuine.

I love Kramer. He doesn't need to apologize for anything. He has too much money to apologize to nobodies. HAHAHAHA!!!!
