What do you get when you multiply that by 1000? 8064. So it must be 8064/1000.

1.) 8.064 = 8 + 0.064

2.)0.064 = 0.064/1 = 64/1000

let x = 8.064

1000x = 8064
10000x = 80640
so 10000x-1000x = 80640-8064
9000x =72576

x = 72576/9000 = 1008 / 125

I'm no math whiz, but .064 X 15.625 = 1. So, here's where I REALLY show my ignorance.
1/15.625 = .064 + 8 = 8.064
I don't know if that's legal in math. As I said, I'm no whiz.
