Do you ever listen to a song on repeat? Why do you think we sometimes listen to the same song back to back to back?

I think anyone who loves music, and listens often always finds certain songs that either takes them back to a time, or reminds them of something or someone..Most of the time when I hear a song, I can tell you what year it came out just because the words remind me of a time in my life whether it was good, or bad...Some make me smile and some make me cry..but to me it's sometimes like magic..I don't know of anything else in this world that within a few seconds can transport me to another time in my life..Not even pictures can do that!

Sometimes I do it to just get the whole meaning to the song, other times it is because I like it.

sometimes i love Everlong by the Foo Fighters i can listen to that on repeat in my IPod but i probably wouldnt do it on a stereo cause not everyone loves the song as much as me but i know alot of people do love it.

In the beginning, I listen to it over and over to figure out the lyrics...plus, sometimes it just sounds so good I want to enjoy it a few times!.. :-)

maybe when some people listen to a certain song, it tirggers a time of happiness or a zone of comfort. people like to be happy so it is played over and over again until they are completly sick of it

well, when I listen to a song over and over again it's usually to get it out of my head. i usually only listen to a song when i'm sad or if i'm trying to get a song out of my head.(i usually listen to "because of you" by Kelly Clarkson when i'm mad or sad)
