There is a downside: When you delete cookies, some programs or goodies you downloaded may or may not work, pictures may or may not become X’s the next time you open the file, etc.
It’s your choice to make.
You can also:
Click Contents tab: now click the content tab, click to clear auto complete, click to clear forms.
Where it says use autocomplete, uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store. This way you won’t have to keep going back and clearing things out.

1. Click Start-- Control Panel --- Internet options.
2. Here you will find Delete History in the History section. Click delete and all your address bar entry is gone. you can control the Number of days the history can be saved, by default its 10 but you can reduce it.

3. You can also clear Internet Cache by clearing Download Temporary Internet Files. This will keep your internet Cache free and will slightly speed up your system.

If it is internet history, go to Tools - Options and Click on "Clear History" on internet explorer. If it is for the entire history of your computer, download history cleaner softwares from websites like download.com

Go to Start-->Run-->%tmp%-->ok-->Select Temporary Internet Files Folder by going back -->select all and delete them.
go back once in the sma e window u can find history select all and delete them.

if u r asking about internet history then goto
Tools>internet options
in Genaral tab
click on
clear history
delete file
delete cookies

it will clear all the history from your browser

click on tools go into Internet options and it should be in the box that pops up along with deleting cookies

depends on the browser you are using but usually it is under tools, options, pricacy then clear history

click kit (i think of thats the only) on the applicable left corner of the information superhighway browser, and then click something alongside the strains of "delete surfing heritage". sorry, I even have domicile windows vista, that's a tad bit distinctive.
