#1 If you know of thieves stealing from their jobs to sell things on eBay and you don't report them to the store or the police, you are a thief, too, aren't you. An accessory by failing to do the right thing?

#2 So what if people want to make a profit on their purchases? How is that on eBay or on merchandisers? Remember the bruhaha with Tickle Me Elmo a few Christmases ago? We live in a capitalistic society and if someone legitimately buys anything and can sell it for a profit, he's a hero to many, isn't he?

Doing the right thing is not always easy. Stealing is wrong, of course, and if someone unwittingly buys stolen merchandise on eBay, that's not on eBay either. It's on the thief who did the stealing, and maybe on your for remaining silent.

Do the right thing.

right?

Q#1. It will be extreamely hard for the buyer to dertimine if the merchandise was stolen or not. The key is to look at the sellers feedback rating. If you suspect the item you got to be stolen, you should contact local law enforcement. Chances are you will most likely loose out on the item you just paid for.

Q#2 People do in fact do this. I know of one person who got ahold of 3 PS3's and had them listed on Ebay to make 400% more than what he paid. The kicker is that people will pay for it. So who is actually to blame.

the hazards are after delivery an merchandise that somebody paid for with Paypal, they arrive back, do a chargeback, and assorted the time Paypal aspects with the shopper and not the broking even although you have shown information of transport. After that Paypal takes the money out of your account, provides it back to the guy ands they get your merchandise AND the money back! the different hazard is that if Paypal thinks you're somebody different than your self or for the different reason, they are able to lock your account and save all your cash in limbo for months on end. each and every of the jointly as you are able to't deliver or get carry of money inflicting a significant loss of business enterprise! Ebay owns Paypal. Overstock can disable your account devoid of warning in case you even make one mistake and whilst they do it is not negotiable. Then they proceed to bill you for expenses. once you are going to sell on line, get a provider provider account with cardservices and settle for credit taking part in cards. much less difficulty, much less fraud and human beings tend to pay speedier. yet another hazard. Nigerian scams (and different international locations) They declare they opt for all your products, deliver you a counterfeit money order (many times for better than what the products value) have you ever deliver the products plus the overpayment to them then some weeks later the money order bounces and you're in warm water.

Some things are outrageously priced on eBay, or they jack up the shipping price for the extra cash... i am sure people do steal and sell on eBay, but that is where you have to be careful... check out their feedback, before I bid i read each and every feedback and if they have alot of negatives i don' t buy...
but i do say i agree that it is getting crazy to purchase from eBay...
