me and hubby are trying to conceive. my last period was Sept 29. i had brown spotting from Oct 29-Nov7. insead of a period i had the spotting. The spotting went away and then 11 days later which was Nov 18 i started spotting again. i spotted Nov 18-19 and today it came out one time like a period but its brown. what do you think is up?? i will see the doctor again on friday. anyone experience this? could it be pregnancy? or something else. i checked for STD's two weeks ago and im all clear.

The brown discoloration is old blood... when you have your period it is the lining of your uterus shedding and it grows a new one, so sometimes women don't completely shed the old lining and it is brownish... thus being old blood... it is normal to happen sometimes, but you should check with your doctor to make sure you are ok.

Hello confuse, How much have you spotted? Have you done a pregnacy test yet? Are you under alot of stress?
I have been in this situation, but I was pregnant, and made to go 100 percent bed rest! Yes that means, stay in bed, lay on your side, not to work, worry, shopping, cooking, cleaning and etc. I carried the baby for 22 weeks, and had a premature baby, but others have been able to carry their baby full term by just doing exactly the doctor's oders, staying in bed, watching their diets, and keeping the blood pressure down. I hope you are going to an ob&gyn for examination, but you might want to give them a call as soon as possible to be seen earlier thant your appointment time. Take care of your self.

it could be that you are stressed to the max wondering. have you tried taking a pregnancy test??? ive heard spotting is common in the first month of pregnancy

sounds like you could possibly be pregnant. the bleeding that you had around the 29th could have been implantation bleeding. keep in mind, though if you went off birth control, it could also just be your body's way of adjusting to the hormonal change

it could be sign of pregnancy, some women have a discharge like that during the first trimester
