My Toshiba Satellite Laptop screen went blank, but the power turns on and nothing else works, can someone plz help me fix this problem. thanx. if u cant reach me here then email me at Wasim1113@sbcglobal.net. thanks a lot

The last time I saw something like this it was way back when I accidentally formatted the hard drive. The PC was wiped clean.

Can you load anything in Safe Mode? Turn the PC on while holding the F8 key.

I have an HP laptop. There are buttons on the keyboard (upper left hand corner) that lightens and darkens the monitor. You might like to check that out.

It's may be because of flat cable of screen that connects it to laptop. May be you open your screen more than you should. Or some other reasons like VGA.
