Politicians, by definition, do not give straight answers.

I'd love to use this opportunity to bash liberalism, however, beating around the bush, talking through the sides of their mouths and bold faced lying is spread very equally across the entire spectrum of politics.

Liberals have a very strong opinion and sometimes their point of views are hard to be straight because of the structure of the government.

There is no such thing as a true liberal in the true since of the word... but its all about the smoke screen and eventual total enslavement of all Americans to the government socialist agenda and programs!... The liberals will enact these programs and be hero's for it to those who want a hand out and not a hand up!

you might be confusing a straight answer for a simplistic, black and white answer. If you believe in black and white, things are simple for you and you do not understand the nuance, the complexity of issues and simply answer with your heart and bias rather than analytical thought. Ever read Platos' Socrates where he talked to a man about...are your enemies bad and your friends good...can a friend be bad at times and an enemy good...if you attack your enemy because he's bad and he turns out to be at least as good as your friend...isn't your enemy your friend and your friend your enemy? Then isn't it best to attack no one?

Because confusion is what we thrive on. Obviously. How can we give a straight answer when we dont even know what we are talking about.

Giving a straight answer requires speaking from logic. This is something the liberals are incapable of doing.

They speak from emotion, and often, emotions are hard to explain and change alot.

Hence the flip-flopping John Kerry.
