I was hoping that the Harry Potter movie wouldn't squander the opportunity of using such a talented and experienced actor as Ralph Fiennes, and I don't think they did, so I'm quite happy.
But I do hope the main actors have honed their acting skills a bit more. I love the entire cast, but there have been some awkward scenes in which the acting is sub-par.
Thank you, Harry Potter, for being such a great procrastination alternative :D

I absolutely cannot wait for the 5th movie. To be honest, I wasn't really into the books until after I saw the movies. And I agree with you about Ralph Fiennes, I can't imagine someone better for the job.

One of the things is this -- through all 4 of the movies -- I went with my Asperger's Syndrome child (High Functioning Autism) and her friends were there, and other children -- ALL of them read the books -- and so did I -- and ALL of them were anticipating certain passages and scenes ...
NOT Only did all the kids complain throughout the movie ("that's not right, no - not in the correct order, What? MOM, this movie is really BAD ...") but they were seriously DISAPPOINTED in all of them --
The ONLY teens/kids that liked the movies were:
The ONES who did NOT read the books!
So for the 5th movie -- my expectations are LOW -- the now Adult Child who did NOT read the books will most likely find it quite to their liking ...
But the younger sibling (also now an Adult) will find the movie once again a BIG Disappointment.
I am sure to re-read the book BEFORE I go to the movie -- and I am expecting to be disappointed. Just once, really once, I would LIKE to see a movie that sticks close to the books (but that is not to be).
