Any Washingtonians out there?

We are buying land in the Port Angeles area--Freshwater Bay specifically. Any opinions, tips, warnings?

Port Angeles is nice, but too remote for me. You'll be close to Victoria, BC which is a very romantic place to go. It's on the peninsula, near the San Juan Islands (a big resort area). Sailing and crabbing on the Sound, hiking and camping in the Olympic Rainforest.

Basically, if you're retiring or are buying a cabin/vacation property, good on ya, but I wouldn't want to live out there and have to work.
