I would say there are two ways to do this task. The first is to just vacuum clean them while they are still attached to the window then twist then down and wipe over them with a damp cloth then opening them to air dry. This way is fine to do if you are just cleaning off minor dust. This is how I clean my blinds twice a year I take them down and put them in the bath tub, making sure you have warm water and a cleaner like Top Job . Put each blind in the tub separately with the blind pulled all the way up to the top then gently release the blind, wipe over the blind and let it soak in the bath for a minute. Then pull them out of the water and pull them back up to the top. Have a towel on the floor and wrap blind in them, take them outside and hang over clothesline. If the blinds are from the kitchen and are grime and grease sometimes it is just easier to buy new. Good Luck and Happy Cleaning

Buy new. They are incredibly cheap. The effort to really clean mini blinds just isn't worth the 3 bucks they cost.

I used to take them into the shower and wash with the shower wand. Now we have a pressure washer and I took them out in the porch this year and laid them flat and sprayed them. WOW! That was sooooo much easier and quicker.
