I was kind of wanting to get a tongue ring. I was just wondering about it, like does it hurt and how much. Has anyone ever gotten an infection, and what is that like? I have heard that if you hit the right spot it could kill you? I don't know, I probably won't even get it done.

Also I have heard that it is the only one where the hole doesn't close back over when you take it out....is that true?

Also do you guys know of any good fake ones....if I don't chose to get the real thing done. Ones that are fairly cheap and look pretty close to the real thing.

I had gotten my tongue pierced a few years ago. I wore the ring for about a year and got sick of it and took it out. There's a slight hole there, but its not fully there because I tried putting a ring on last year and it wouldnt go through. For the first week you cant really talk because your tongue is swollen and it's hard to eat. As far as fake tongue rings....I've never heard of them and if so I wouldn't understand how they would work. hahah

it hurts if mine ever close I would not re pierce it.
