Each section of the US has it's own grocery stores. My favorites are Shop Rite and Superfresh.

Whole Foods I think has a great fresh selection of foods, but mostly I like to use my local farmers market as often as possible. If you have one in your area you should check into it.
For a large supermarket I just use whatever is closest- things like cereal/ soups/ processed stuff.
