I eventually decided to get a blue tree monitor instead of a Green tree monitor. I was now thinking of getting another monitor What kind should I get.

Why not get a pair or tree monitors? They would do quite well together given enough height and width of a cage. Also the tree monitor market isnt up and going so i would be a good idea to get into it. This is of course if you know how to properly care for them. Other types of monitors are..Savannah, Nile, Water, Argus, and Ackie's they stay small.

I've only owned one type of monitor, but he was great. He was a Savannah Monitor. (Not sure if you have the space available for that).

I prefer the look of a black throat monitor, but the savannas have a better temperment. Either way, you better have lots of space!! and experience with reptiles.

savanna monitors are good first time monitor as pets.. i have one and im looking at another.. they arent as aggressive as other moitors just remember to give them lots of water they love to swim in it potty in it and relax init.... gl
