can 94 tranny with electric shift be replaced with a 92 with a kick down cable plug ins are different?

it is a 92 pickup 700r4 going into a 94 suaburbun

it already has the bracket for the cable

It would be nice to know what type of vechicle and transmission you are talking about. Electric kick downs are connected to a carb switch and cable kick down are connected direcctly to the carb linkage. On chevrolets you wold need to install a mounting bracket for the cable to attach to.
