One does not eat salmonella (bacteria) with salmon unless the salmon has been left out in the open to spoil.
Salmon is one of the best fish to eat as it is high in omega-3 fatty acids.
Salmonella food poisoning is miserable and in rare cases can be fatal.

salmon is gross, too fishy tasting! i think salmonella is a little different, but it's probably just as gross. Raw chicken even tastes better than fully cooked salmon on its best day! I had smoked salmon the other day and it was like picking up some old dried up dead fish off the shore and biting into it, only we paid way more than I would have if I had picked one up off a rock out near the water, yuck!

Love salmon!! Raw meat-especially chicken carries the risk of salmonella.

Every now and then...my mom LOVES it and eats it whenever she can. My family is going on a cruise to Alaska in May and i'll probably get overload of it then (most Salmon comes from Alaska), but no to your other question, no I don't get salmonella lol.

My Son just cooked some up a couple nights ago. (Salmon, not salmonella!)
It was Delicious, the little kids ate & ate with not a bite leftover!! MMMMM
I think I would know it had I eaten the other wouldn't I? I don't think I have.

I love salmon. Salmonella is a different story; she almost killed me about 10 years ago. I've never forgotten it!
