Something to somthing means DIVISION. Okay?
5 quarts to 5 gallons is the same as saying
5 quarts divided by 5 gallons
1 quart = 32 ounces
1 gallon = 128 ounces
5 x 32 = 160 ounces...This is our numerator.
5 x 128 = 640...This is our denominator.
So, divide 160 BY 640 to get 0.25 as your final answer.
