this website is for fantasy model games... but it is a excellent source for help on building anything... also the other site is a terrain website for wargames mostly, but there are people there that help with doll houses...

Library is the cheapest most logical place to start. If you have a scanner and camera, you can take a pic of the oiece u wish to make and scale it down on the scanner and print it on scaled paper
