I would like to know your thoughts. I personally think this was no big deal, he called the man what he was. Look, there are white people, black people, crackers/white trash, *******, etc. I'm not calling all black people ****** but there certainly are some of them -- the rude, loud, ignorant, and obnoxious ones. If you call someone a cracker, it's not nearly as bad as calling someone a ******.

Michael Richards might have lost his cool, but he wasn't EXTREMELY out of line. The guys were talking during his entire show! Like one of the YouTube'rs commented, if Chris Rock had said this, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Again, I'm not a racist, this is merely how I feel about this issue. So what are your views?

Well, I didn't know Yahoo had filters...I said n*gger for all those asterisks.

Before anyone corrects me, I meant to say in the title "Michael Richards" not "Richard's" :)

Yes, or the third option -- he was just acting foolishly but he's not a racist.

What I meant by "brave" is that he is not afraid to use "the n-word". Usually, blacks can call whites crackers, white-trash, etc, but a white calling a black a n*gger? Never! It's unacceptable!

I don't think there was any act of bravery at all. Why?
He had a well established career as a comedian and in an instant pretty much ended his career as a mainstream comedian. For what? A couple of loud mouth men with nothing better to do than run their mouths.

There was a much better way to handle the situation and have them escorted out, but if you lose your cool then you exhaust your options pretty quickly. I don't know if he is a racist or not, but he hurt his hard earned career over something very trivial.

Hate is not bravery it is a weakness that destroys one from within.
Peace...

I think it was a stupid mistake that was fueled in anger, certainly not bravery. Oh great, all we need is just another thing for people who take the word n*gg*r offensively something to b*tch about. People should feel sorry for him if he indeed is racist, not complain about something that's not going to change. The word n*gg*r/n*gga has so many meanings, I don't even pay it any attention anymore.

No i dont think he is a racist, he just lost his rage when those two kept interrpting him. He just lost his cool. And i just want to eduacte those on the word ******!! That word isn't only geared towards african americans. That word is geared towards darker skinned people in other countries. like in the middle east they call people sand *******, asian are called rice *******, and people in india are called slop *******. so i just wanted to make that clear for those who direct that word only to african americans. quit being close minded!!!

From what I heard, he used the "N" be conscious, after to blacks began yelling at him that he became a "cracker" and get off the diploma. What you're actually not listening to is the comments they have been calling him! it particularly is the liberal media.

RACIST! You sound that way too. You cannot judge anyone becasue you don't know them. You could get drunk and act the same way and it would not be right to be called that. Just because you loose your cool does not give you the right to say that to people. I feel that if you feel the way you do next time you see someone black people yelling and talking loud call them that name and see how justified you will be. I would never do that.

Look around you on Yahoo Answers (of the people who mention which race they are), which is the absolute DUMBEST, most ignorant, clueless and offensive race?

Whites.
