You made the team because you're good! I'm a Hoosier, and everyone knows that we are basketball country, so I know a little something about the sport. Focus on the game, and very soon everyone will be saying you made the team because you're great. Just keep making those shots. Remember the commercial with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird where they kept doing, "nothin' but net?" That's what you need to focus on. "Nothin' but net." By the way, those great b-ball players are very tall, and it didn't hurt them one bit! Good Luck!

People used to say the same thing about me. I was always the tallest person on my team, and I just let people talk. Just play your game and let it talk. They are just mad because they aren't on the team or because they aren't tall. Some of the tallest guys in college and the nba aren't that great, but they are there because they are tall. You can't win a lot of games without tall guys!!!

To be honest there is nothing you can really do about it but to play your game good and show them that it wasnt because you were tall but because you are good.

Let your game speak for you. If you're good, it will shut them up. If they don't shut up, then they're jealous and small-minded, and aren't worth thinking about.

Just play your game and don't let them get to you.
