Problem with Nintendo DS wifi connection?

I have a 2Wire router, and whenever I try and get online with my DS it says that the IP address cannot be found. I put in the WEP correctly and everything. The WiFi worked at my friend's house, and he has his unlocked. What can i do to get the DS wiFi to work here?

I can think of 2 thinks here...

1) You have your router with WPA or WPA2 encryption, I have had problems with this, change the encryption to WEP
2) Your router has a G only mode, change this to a mixed mode, or a B only mode.

add your IP address to the 2wire modem then you should be fine if not check your anitvirus program or firewall
