I don't know if it would prove religions wrong necessarily, but it would sure throw a new light on an old question.

I assume you mean space aliens. There is nothing to suggest to me that there couldn't be life out there somewhere on other worlds.

Whether or not it is a superior life compared to us remains to be seen. If they have visited us, they have been pretty cool about it and only given us glimpses of their space vehicles and have been pretty sneaky about leaving proof.

They may have seen how developed we are, and are waiting for us to get more civilized before they contact us.

We are still awfully young. Only been around for a very short time when you think about how long the earth was habitable.

Then of course, that life form might be superior in comprehension. Most people cannot comprehend anything higher than god and the universe. It is very possible that religion and god are all merely delusions of the feeble intellect of man.
But..
This truth lacks the better story. That there is a god who is omniscient and caring of our pathetique race. There is also the possibility that there is indeed a universal truth and divine being, however this may not be god as we see it. It would be interesting for now at least, I dont think most people would be ready for such a thing to be revealed.

To sum it up like Pi (pun intended piscine molitor patel) I would still believe in our conventional religions because it's the better story and much better than Dry, Yeastless, Factuality.

What a silly question this is!
We find new life forms all the time! New species of fish. New flowers. New butterflies.
What kind of life form do you mean? Extraterrestrial?
The answer should be the same. Nowhere in our religious texts is the SUPREME being limited to creating life on earth. He wouldn't be very SUPREME if he was so limited. If he created the heavens and the earth, he could have created life forms in the heavens and in fact, the Bible says God created angels-- another intelligent life form. I don't know if all other religions have a parallel to angels, but some do.

All religions are wrong. But the message from God is right. Religion puts men in power over the gospel. That's like having a wolf guard sheep! Power corrupts, every religion on earth has countless examples of this. Too many of men's opinions and preferences have been intertwined into religion to know what is right or wrong with it anymore.

What is important is this, love you neighbor as yourself, Alien or otherwise. You are born knowing what evil is. Murder, torture, theivery, making false allegations against the innocent. All of these things you wouldn't want done to you, do them to no one.

Apparently you did not think about it, yourself. Religion is a system that is based on faith, not proof. You can never find another life form that will "prove all religions wrong".
People who spend their time futilely trying to disprove religion is a waste of intellect. You can not attack faith with logic. But it is your time. Waste it how you want to, but do not be suprised when no one takes you seriously.

maybe but religion had survived a lot. before we were the centero f the universe and now we are but an insignificant planet and still religion survives. I'm a buddist and for us it does notm atter what life form is found, just how we interact.

Religion is bullshit. It is a business. Now lets say for example churchs all of a sudden were not tax exempt anymore. They had to pay tax like everyone else. Then how many churches would you see!

But there is so much in THIS world that proves religion is a farce, and people continue to believe anyway.

No amount of logic will convince an irrational person.

No, it would only be inconvenient for those religions that deny the existence of extra terrestrial life. I don't think Buddhism denies that for example.

I agree. But I know that the religious leaders would come up with an explanation fitting their beliefs.
