First of all, find out from either her, a close family member or friend, what scent she likes. It could be a certain fruit smell, or another scent.

Check out the candle section at Wal-Mart. There's usually a whole aisle of exactly what you are looking for.

Bath and Body Works also has some really great smelling candles, but they can be a little more expensive. The can come in gift sets with matching lotions and bath stuff, or they can be sold seperately. But just about anything from there is a great girl gift for any age.

Good luck.

Are you kidding? I absolutely love scented candles for any occasion. Candles aren't cheap but I will tell you if you have a Krogers in your area their very nice glass jar candles are now $3.53 per candle and are quite large. You have to have a Kroger card to get that price but your mom will probably sign up for one if you ask her to. I just love the Cranberry one and they have three scents in one candle. Cranberry and vanilla. There are also candle sets packaged around the holidays. You are so on the right track as candles can be used all year long and make the house so nice smelling. I wish I could adopt you as my brother!!I usually get socks. boring

You didn't say how old your sister was, but candles are a nice gift, I love candles, and never seem to have "too many". I like getting small scented lotions or hand sanitizer for my purse. If she likes to read, they have some really cool bookmarks with beaded charms... A gift certificate maybe?

Before you get her candles, check with your parents that this is OK. Candles are a dangerous fire hazard and your parents might not want her filling her room with them.

Ask your parents for some ideas. No doubt she's given them a list of things she wants, and there might be some things on that list that are in your price range--a CD, for instance.

go to the store Dusk. They have really nice candles that don't smell like crap and you can get some for $15 or under.

Lotion or body butter from Bath and Body Works. Or a CD that she wants.

it depends on how old your sister is. if she's a few years older than you, picture frames are always good, she probably likes hanging out with her friends, and she'll like to display pictures of them together around her bedroom.
