You may be pregnant or you messed up your body. You are supposed to talk your first pill the first Sunday after your period has ended.

hi,
There could be a few things going on here.
1.Yes you could be pregnant but I would think your doctor would have asked you that before you went on the pill.
2.It could be your body adjusting to the pill
3.Or it could be the wrong pill for you either to strong and effecting your normal period or to weak and a sudden gush like you mentioned could be a start of a infection or you becoming pregnant while on the pill.
Go to your doctor or family plan clinic and ask them.
You can even ring your local hospital and ask them as the same for your chemist.
Do you know that at your chemist free of charge you can ask for a fact sheet about the type of pill you doctor has you on with all the pros and cons you need to be aware of..
hope this is some help..

The best thing about being on the pill is the lighter periods!! First, did you miss any pills this month? If not then that was probably all there was to this month's period. If you missed any pills and are sexually active, then you may want to take an over the counter pregnancy test.
