I have had a tendency to go faster with the more upbeat the music is or if my mood suggests so, but I am getting better at controlling my emotions behind the wheel. I go to the gym instead!

It's a scientific fact. A persons mood definitely changes with different types of music. This means that music can make us also act differently too....if we allow it too. We may want to sing, dance, or just tap our foot. Anyway, while driving a car....one has indeed sped up while listening to......let's say.....Van Halen....or also, one can become more stressed and drive erratically while listening to......the soundtrack from Jurassic Park...(Really). One tends to slow down while listening to.....Soft Classical....etc.

So, to answer your question........YES.

And If you don't believe me about the Jurassic Park Soundtrack...Just go out and buy it. But I don't recommend listening to it while driving in heavy traffic. It has been known to cause accidents!

Not exactly. My music usually reflects my mood and my driving does too, so often the music and speed will reflect each other without being directly related. Whoa - that is way too complex of an answer for my brain at this time of night.

Yes, most definately. The faster and louder the music, the faster the car will go.

I go faster - I always have to set the cruise control because I speed whenever a good song comes on.

If I am listening to a favorite song, and about to reach my destination, I drive slower, so that I can hear the whole song.

Well, since I like fast tempo music and I like to speed, I think the two go hand and hand.
