Australia is a wonderful place and I should know I live here. I live in the wonderful yet often missed South Australia. Adelaide is a great place to visit. We have world quality wines from Barossa, Claire, Reynella and Mc Laren Vale. Our beaches are top quality and our food is great. We have hills on one side of our city and the sea on the other. I love our state and wouldn't live anywhere else.
The other places in Australia are good as well. I stayed in Melbourne for a month and even though I was glad to get home I had an enjoyable time there.
Sydney I can say much as I've never been there except for the airport.
Queensland is a great resort place if you want to go to a place that's got everything,
Darwin's great and so is Alice Springs. Had a ball there,
Perth once again never been there so I can't tell you about the place.

Large, friendly and beautiful. I am bias of course but Everyone loves there home, Sydney is like a little new york or London with great beaches, Melbourne is the shopping and sports capital of the world Perth is just beautiful with beaches everywhere Darwin is just to relax have a beer and drop in a line (fish) QLD is the party town a bit of a mixture of laid back surfies and friendly people and Adelaide well it doesn't really have much to offer maybe the barosa valley (wines) though you could just skip it and get Wine in WA. hehe

All in all Australia is a beautiful country and should be on all peoples lists to visit. have a look at the sight below
