I try to one act of kindness daily...everynight when I fall on bed, I thank God for whatever .he gave me.....then I think if I really did something good for anyone.
most of the time I had done.
then I pray for welfare of my family, friends ,relatives and humanity..I pray for peace in the world.for Iraqi people dying every day, and no one cares . how many families have funeral everyday.
I pray for our young and old soldiers , who don't want war but they must fight.and lose their lives daily.
I think praying is also an act of kindness.
I help with a bit of money for those who have self respect so much that they are embaressed to ask
I call or write to my teachers who are still alive and far.to thank them for the wealth of education which they gave me.
in cold weather , knowing the law I still give ride to some walking on foot.
once in bitter cold I saw an 18 year old going to Burger king I asked why he did not take the bus?...he said he did not have money...only a coupon of 50 cents for burger, then I took him to B.King gave him $5.00 to go back by bus.....during his ride , he asked me "do you often give ride to strangers?".I said "yes I do."......he said "don't do that.it is dangerous"
I should not say all this, but I thought maybe it will inspire someone....Good question.

Everyday.
Now more than ever, people should smile at each other and be kind in different ways.
Americans are known for this even though they are not acknowledged.
Helping some Americans to relearn good behaviors is up to each individual. When you are kind to others, they will take the hint and be kind to someone else.
Start today and pass the word along... and so will others on Yahoo Q@A. Thank you for the heads up! ;-)))

All these wonderful answers! It gives you hope for the human race! Sometimes it feels as if you are the only one doing random acts of kindness, but here it is... others are doing it too! I say "Thank you." It does feel good to do something for someone else and I'm sure that's the only thanks you need.

I do everyday. I remind people on the road to buckle up for safety.
That would be great, if everyone that has been to busy, with their busy life, to do random acts of kindness, if they would all do it during the holidays, no one would go without Xmas.
God bless and bless the ones who bless.

Absolutely, I try to do them as often as I can. They always come back to me. Even in a world that can be incredibly unkind, there are these little moments where people can be incredibly giving towards one another while expecting nothing in return. I try to remember that when someone cuts me off and then gives ME the finger (LOL)!

I have, in the past, written letters to the survivors of people I found in the obituary columns to try to give them hope for a future to welcome their dead relatives back in a resurrection, and I even had one lady write me back in appreciation for my thoughtfulness. If I could do it, I would take in a homeless person or adopt a child that nobody else would take in. At least my thoughts are noble about doing that. I am unable to do that due to my apartment building's regulations.

Yes frequently. I often hold doors for others, help random strangers carry their things, and have even been known to pay for the person behind me in the drive-thru.
