If you are good with your hands, try a local hardware store. I worked at a True Value for several years while I was going to school, and I learned a lot. I also had a lot of fun while I was there, and now I can fix most things on my house where other people would have to pay a professional. It wasn't the highest paying job around, but the experience and knowledge I gained has proven to be well worth it. If you aren't that good with your hands, what are you good at, and how can you apply it? My brother worked in the computer center at his college for a while, and they liked him, and he liked working there, as a different example. The best part is you're young enough right now to try a few different jobs. Just make sure you give a good effort, because a positive reference from any boss will make getting a better job later a lot easier. Good luck!

Depending on what level you have reached schooling etc, But having said that maybe working in fast food outlets is a great way to understand about food handling pressure, and general work ethics.
You also get food handling schooling thus aquire qualifications to work in the industry.
Whilst it is a job lowly paid it gives you a good grounding to climb the ladder ,as it gives you work ethics and discipline of working in a team enviroment....
This to me is where you launch your career in any direction as these ppl are usually well recieved via the strict teamwork ethic taught.
Hope this has been some help to you...â¥

Well, if you dont want to do anything fast food, try something in a mall or clothing store, or cutting grass in the summertime(that pays really good) babysitting if you're good with kids...Dog walking, there are plenty of things, or you can try craigslist.org and put in your state and city, or vector.com
