It shouldn't...at least not in 2020. There are enough oil supplies to last till 2050. And we're still finding new oil fields.

The prices of oil will go up... perhaps $6.00 a gallon maybe. Great for reserachers and money-makers. Because electric cars / hybrids comes into the new technology. Home made oil perhaps from fossils and decomposers, everything would use electric instead. Great for big or small businesses but whose companies owned by monopolying oil and natural gas would lose their jobs and services and seek some way to get right to business.

I am sure that we will be walking more or using mass transit. We will also need to find different ways to run our cars and heat our homes. I wouldn't be surprised if one day we begin rationing oil and gas.

Because of the decline....If we don't get it together with the usage of hydrogen fuel cells... lets just say we are all going to be walking everywhere.
