I saw the show the reason why he was in there cause he was not surpose to go across the border to catch the wanted man for $150,000 reward.
He don't collect the money and went to jail he got out for $40,000
Therefore, he did get out of jail. He's on house arrest right now!!!

The Dog was release from the prison in June of 2003. After his release he signed his onto his third season of Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E.

Yes, he and his son were in a Mexican jail but were released some time ago - all charges were dropped. :)

No, he was released in late November and all charges were dropped. I hope to see more Dog:The Bounty Hunter soon.
