My tree is full, so I really don't need to buy any new ornaments. Each year I buy one really gorgeous, expensive one to replace one that has gotten somewhat shabby. I guess I don't have one favorite ornament. The one I buy each year is the favorite, of that year.

I have some Waterford ornament balls, in blue and red. I engineer the lights behind them, so they shine through the crystal, they are gorgeous. I have some heavy glass ornaments from Lennox, same thing, they glow with the lights behind them.
But my favorites are some glass snowflakes I dug out of a basket at the Fostoria glass outlet store many years ago, for a small price. The basket was by the door, I risked life and limb to get them.
And some gold discs, with a flat silver filgree insert. I ordered them out of the newspaper Parade magazine years and years ago, they are still pretty, and I paid like $5 for them.
So my favorites are ones I had to work to get, that cost a lot less than they were worth, even back then.

Actually I hate Christmas. However, I have a favorite ornament that someone just gave me the other day as a joke. From a distance it looks like and elf. Upon further notice, you can see it is not---it is an ENEMA!! No kidding. It has a cape and a santa hat. On the cape it says Ena-Man. No lie. Look it up on the web. Google Fleet Ena-Man ornament you will see it!!! Some funny **** I tell ya!!!

I love ornaments! I collect several different types...Radko, old blown glass, suns and moons.
My favorites are from the 1930s. They are small, pebbled glass balls, a little over an inch in diameter. They belonged to my mother and were on my childhood trees. I found them 30 years ago packed away in an old barn on our farm. There were 5 of them left, gold and green, and I love them. I use them every year.

The angel on top of my tree. Nana bought it for my a long long time ago and I still have it now. It reminds me of her every year when I put it up and how much I miss her, especially at Christmas time. (she passed away a few years ago)
