Why did Lorelai marry Christopher on Gilmore Girls?

I thought she was going to marry Luke. I've miss alot this season.

who knows why.\lorelai does the things that she does. It is a mental thing with her . I hope she comes to her senses and has the thing annulled .She belongs with luke!!!! good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiivng.

She and Luke had a falling out because Luke found out he had a daughter, and wanted to delay the wedding so he could get to know his daughter, then he started making up excuses to keep delaying it. She slept with Christopher, and they just stayed together after that. She is happy with him.
