Sure do. After I answer of course. Sorry to all those who don't read the long ones...mine can be lengthy at times. LOL! If you think my answers are lengthy...you should hear me talk! Oh well.

I usually read not only the question thoroughly, but also everyone's answers - if no one has given a good or correct answer, how is the person asking the question supposed to know? If I know the answer and see that no one else has answered correctly, I will let the person asking know about it in my answer. Also reading other people's answers gives me insights into what kind of mentality other people have, whether they are just trying to rack up points for answering a question, or are honestly trying to help someone out. A lot of people just toss off any old silly or stupid answer just to get the points, instead of trying to help someone with an honest question. That goes against my nature - I try to help, and if I don't know, I won't waste anyone's time with an answer, unless it's a silly question - THEN I'll give a silly answer.

Yes, most of the time.
If someones answer is the same as mine would have been
I won't answer. But I also check the Avatar of the person
asking the question and anyone else's that interests me.
I check their 360 page if they have one. This takes a lot of
time and I don't get to answer many questions or, like most
evenings I stay on here to long.
WOW - when I started answering this question there where
15 answers - by the time I finished, I ended up as #41.
Good question!!!

Only if my computer lets me. Usually it comes up Be the first to answer and then I answer but then there ends up like being 300 answers (just a guess nothing exact) that have were all posted like 5-10 minutes ago. Sometimes I do when it lets me but that doesn't influence my answer to the question and I usually only read them after I have answered.

That's one thing I don't do. I give an honest answer, I don't like to look at what everybody else says because i'm not a follower and I want to give an answer, according to my own opinion. I used to look at everybody elses answer, before giving my answer, but then I realized, i'm not helping anyone out, if i'm giving the same answers, that everybody else is giving.

Sometimes, after I answer, I do. I have had to go back and edit my answer a couple of times, when I miss understood the question.

To me, that's the fun part. I get so many chuckles reading answers and I learn to look for certain people to answer because I know it will be good.
