there's nothing wrong going out with your best friend, i have a guy best friend. i always do that when ever i go back home.

we even take vacation together, outside the country or wherever we wanted to see. funny thing is, everyone thought we are a couple, i guess, due to we almost gotten married several years ago. we have that bonding that no one can infiltrate. its a deep feeling for both, other doesn't know how it feel to have your soul mate by your side. we are tight. we share everything, our hopes, failures, tears, success, dreams and heartaches and we do love each other like family. im closer to him than my other four brothers, whenever im weary, i call him up no matter what it is, he is there to hear my cry and makes me smile. i always tell him that he is my pillar, my rock, second to my husband...

I went out with my best friend a couple years ago, we had a nasty breakup, now we are not on speaking terms at all. If we hadn't dated we would probably still be friends.

At the same time, you want your lover to be one if not your number one best friend. So if you feel very strongly about her and are willing to deal with the consequences should the two of your break up, you should tell her or hint at your feelings. She may feel the same way...But don't push if it becomes obvious to you that she doesn't.

Yes! Some of my fondest memoeries are times spent with my best friend...who was a guy. (When I was single)
One time he asked me to go out with him to make his girlfriend jealous. I said..ok. Man, what a shock when I learned she was dating MY boyfriend! Many times after I would come home from my date...he would call(after his date) and we would go out for a 'coke.' What a sweetie he was. Nothing romantic between as whatsoever. He was just my buddy...and I enjoyed just being with him.

If you like her and she likes you yes. You'll be surprise how many girls like their best friends, and are afraid of telling him.
