Do the newer slim Playstation2's have the cd to hook up the network adator in it?

I know you need the cd to hook up the network adaptor on the older bigger models. But I need someone that bought a newer slimmer one to tell me if that cd was included and needed to hook up the network adaptor even though the network adaptor is inside of it?
