How come you put in your two cents but only get a penny for your thoughts??

Because we're being ripped off.. plus, life's not fair is it? what fun would it be if it was? Good way to make a profit too, because if you think about it, not many people think now a days.. *cheers*

When you put in your thoughts (which are worth a penny), you almost always add an opinion or two (which are probably worth nothing, but counted as double your thoughts...hence, two cents)

Thats a very good question. Why not take the penny and keep the two sense that way your making out.

You ask for the information for the penny. But they'll give you two cents if you don't ask for it. Who's got ESP anyway.

I guess if we chose to share our opinions, ideas,knowledge, we pay two cents to the listeners.
If someone wants us to share our opinions,ideas, or knowledge, they give us a penny.
A 100% mark up for wanted information.

i think it should cost 2 dollars instead of 2 cents because 2 cents isnt worth anything anymore. oh yea.. and you get a dollar back.. not too shabby, atleast you can buy a 20oz with it.
